According to the Evening Times, Celtic legend Henrik Larsson could be part of a consortium that looks to take over Wycombe Wanderers in the near future.
It’s one of those stories that you can’t quite believe but it seems as though it has some weighting behind it with former Liverpool man Dirk Kuyt and Arsenal hero Dennis Bergkamp also part of the potential takeover group.
Three big players from recent history and with Wycombe heading in the right direction in League One in England, it’s clear that they are in the midst of some exciting times.
We’ve seen Henrik linked with another League One club recently, of course, with the Southend manager’s job getting linked with him but, right now, it could be at boardroom level where he makes his next football move.
Eventually, we’d like to see him come back into the fold up here but only if and when the time is right.
