Well that was enjoyable! I wrote a few games ago that we needed to keep go into the World Cup keeping our 4-point lead intact. Today, a win against Ross County will see us stretch our league to nine points, with only 15 games of the season having been played.

Win today and the league is over? Not quite but a 9-point gap with a large goal difference affords us to lose 3 games and still be on top, that’s if they won every game for the rest of the season, something I don’t think they are capable of. We only lost 3 games all last season and have only lost once in 2022.

Today we will go into the game with the usual professionalism Ange Postecoglou expects from our team. A win will leave us in a very commanding position moving to the World Cup. This Celtic team even on a bad day, even when VAR is going against us, we still have enough to win.

The team today looks like an attacking line up, with Turnbull in place of Mooy. This is a perfect opportunity for David Turnbull to remind the manager what he has got. Since returning from injury he has not shown this and with a transfer window around the corner and future improvements expected, he needs a performance today.

Let’s get this done well today and keep on rolling.

Who are Celtic’s most capped players from these countries?
