Celtic restored their eight-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership with a fine win over Motherwell Sunday afternoon.

The Bhoys saw Rangers win earlier on in the day against Hamilton convincingly and so the onus was on us to try and respond in kind.

That we did, too, with us bouncing back from the loss against Valencia with a pretty composed and straightforward win against Well.

It was great to see Kieran Tierney back on the pitch, too, as he wore the armband for the Bhoys Sunday afternoon.

Indeed, he had this to say on Twitter after his return from injury:

The left-back has been out with an injury for some time this season but this positive update underlines that he is back for the most crucial time of the year.

He’s by far the best left-back in the league and so to have him back in the side and playing is a massive boost.
