Celtic man reveals frustration over future

|

Quoted by Aftonbladet, Celtic defender Mikael Lustig has revealed his frustration over his situation with him wanting it handled in a different way.

The veteran defender has been at the club for several years and in that time he has been a loyal servant to the side and a real winner with many trophies getting locked away in his personal trophy cabinet.

However, he is coming to the end of his career and there seems to be uncertainty over his future this summer with it possible that he could be leaving the club – though nothing is clear.

Speaking to the outlet from his native land, then, he revealed he is frustrated by the way the last few weeks have gone with it all:

“It could be handled in a different way.

“The last few weeks have been tough. Not on the plan but on the side. I am extremely proud of how I handled the situation. My closest and players and leaders know what has happened.”

Will he stay or will he go, then?

It’s hard to say exactly at the moment but I do have a feeling that he will be gone to be honest.
