Quoted by the Belfast Telegraph, Celtic youngster Connor Hazard has revealed that he would be open to a January loan exit from the club if he cannot get regular game time at the club between now and the start of the window.

The summer window only just shut for business, of course, and we saw some young players leaving the club towards the end of the market on temporary moves.

Hazard, though, remains at the club and he will hope that that is a sign that he will be involved more this season as the Hoops go in search of more silverware.

Nothing is guaranteed given his young age and the players in front of him, though, and he has admitted that a lack of minutes in the coming months could mean he looks to move away for the rest of the season come January.

He had this to say:

“I’ll see what Celtic have planned for me.

“But if things don’t work out between now and January in terms of matches I would be looking to get more game time out on loan. If that happens hopefully I can get the right club for me.”
