Lewis Morgan has obviously been a Celtic player from afar in recent times with him on loan at St. Mirren but I’d say he’s making a real impression.

He’s clearly confident but it’s not arrogance, he’s just clearly got that hunger and belief you need to do well – especially at a club like ours.

Indeed, you need big characters to win titles and, despite being so young, I think this guy has got it – even if he doesn’t play every game next season.

As quoted by Celtic TV – via¬†Sky Sports, though, he’s underlined why the titles should keep on coming to Paradise in the near future after reflecting on playing for the club last night in a friendly – one we won over SK Vorwarts Steyr.

He said:

“It’s massive at a club like this, you breed that winning mentality and keep it going.

“Off the back of a great season last season it is important we kick on and regain that winning mentality so it was good to get over the line.”

The Verdict

I really like the kid, I really do.

He’s got his head in the right place and is aware of the opportunity he’s got in front of him despite a young age.

There’ll be mistakes and errors from him, of course, but he looks determined to succeed and working under Brendan I’m sure he’s going to go from strength to strength.
