Celtic meet old foes

Celtic have former European champions Ajax for company in their Europa League group following the draw held on Friday.

The most recent encounters between the two sides were in the Champions League group stages in 2013-14 – Celtic triumphing 2-1 at Celtic Park through goals from James Forrest and Beram Kayal before losing 1-0 in the return.

Turkish opponents Fenerbahce and Norway’s Molde complete the quartet for the Scottish title winners in Group A.

Elsewhere, Liverpool meet Russians Rubin Kazan, Bordeaux from France and Swiss outfit FC Sion

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur face a long trip to Azerbaijan to face Qarabag, in addition to Anderlecht and Monaco.
