According to Football Insider, Tommy Johnson has turned down the chance to join Celtic and will instead be the Head of Recruitment at Blackpool.
The Bhoys apparently wanted to bring him back to the club at the request of Neil Lennon but it looks as though that isn’t going to be happening and instead he is going to pitch up in the north west of England.
The Hoops got back to winning ways at the weekend by hammering Ross County and with Rangers drawing it meant we went back level with them on points in the league.
However, the title race is going to remain tight and getting things right in January is going to be important in terms of that.
Getting the right people in to help us sign players is important, then, but it seems as though we’re not going to have Johnson and we’ll have to look for other potential arrivals.
