This is another transfer story that doesn’t seem to be going away.

Vital Celtic reported late in October that Brazilian midfield sensation Fernando Henrique was being tipper for a move to Paradise according to Globo.com.

The same news outlet just today name checked the Hoops as a potential destination for the young midfielder as it seems lack of game time may force the players hand to seek a move away from Gremio.

Globo.com reported that it has been TWO MONTHS since Henrique featured for the Brazilian giants and said, “In fact, the current situation points to a departure from the wheel at the end of this season.

“The ge found that the possibility of permanence is remote in this scenario of little use, even because of the demand for the player.”

And demand for the player does seem to be high.

Back in October, Manchester City and Arab side Al Ain were both reportedly interested in Henrique as the valuation was set at £3.5m.

These latest developments have not mentioned whether or not either of these aforementioned clubs will be taking their interest any further but Globo do say that there are other clubs that have also made contact

Henrique’s contract still has a bit to run, until June 2024 to be exact, so the chances of obtaining the flexible midfielder for a knock down price will be nigh on impossible, especially as demand for Henrique seems extremely high.
