According to Football Insider, Celtic are ready to make a move for Rekeem Harper with the player’s contract at West Brom expiring over the weekend.

The youngster is now available on a free and though he is still training at the Hawthorns, the report suggests that Celtic are ready to make a real play for him to try and get him to sign.

A player of considerable potential and talent, the youngster broke onto the scene in earnest last year for West Brom with some fairly impressive performances.

He plays some neat stuff and is very mobile across the football pitch which makes him the natural successor to some of our current midfielders – if they leave the club.

Indeed, he is now free to listen to offers from anyone that wants him and it would appear that the Bhoys are wanting to strike and get him in.

Whether or not they can, though, remains to be seen.

  • He will certainly find it easy going in Scotland. No competition for Celtic at all.

Rakeem if you want to waste your talent and stall your progression go to Celtic.

    • Yeah, waste your talent and progression like Larsson, Wanyama, Van Dijk, Dembele etc etc etc all did?…………………Celtic are perfect to nurture your talent and progress to the next level in your career

    • Well a few responses there. EXCELLENT. Actually his best choice for his future is to sign for Spurs who would loan him to the Baggies for one season. I know all you Celtic fans think your the bees knees but in comparison to Tottenham you offer very little for the lad.

  • It will be the biggest mistake of your life if you turn down this opportunity. Take it with both hands and run.

  • Come to Celtic, see if you are capable enough to fit the strip cause the strip wont shrink to fit an inferior player. Come and rIse to the challenge, do that and you’ll become a Hero! St Al
