According to the Daily Record, Celtic remain keen on George Baldock this summer as they look to address their right-back problems before the end of the window.

We thought a number of players would leave this summer and so that has proven, though the extent at which we have lost right-backs has been a little alarming.

Certainly, we need to sought that area before too long and the report suggests that Baldock is one we remain keen on as we look to bolster the area.

Earning promotion last season with Sheffield United to the Premier League, the defender is a strong runner and found himself operating as a wing-back last season for the Blades.

Indeed, he can do both roles well and it is certainly something that would put him in good stead with the amount of times we’ll need to be attacking in the league next season against stubborn opposition.
