According to the Glasgow Evening Times, Birger Meling is on the brink of signing for Celtic this summer as we look to add the full-back to our side.
In his early 20s, the defender has got plenty to offer by the look of things and he comes from a familiar European foe in Rosenborg.
He’ll have decent experience at the level we could be playing at on the continent this season, then, though I won’t take that for granted after recent performances.
Certainly Neil Lennon needs to get himself some new players in before the end of the window and Meling has to be one of a number in my opinion.
We need a few more additions across the pitch and Meling would be a good start, but hopefully not the end with just over two weeks left in the transfer window.
