Celtic are clearly serious about trying to sign Birger Meling this summer transfer window with the Scottish Sun reporting that they have been scouting him in recent days.
The full-back is seen as a potential recruit to help solve one of the problem areas that remain in the squad and we were apparently watching him in Rosenborg’s recent European clash with Dinamo Zagreb.
Indeed, it certainly seems that the Hoops are keen on signing the 24-year-old this summer window and it is also safe to assume that he’s a player that will feature regularly – if we sign him – given the current options we have got at our disposal in the squad.
It just remains to be seen, then, whether we actually get him.
Clearly, we are keen on signing him but with less than a week to go until the deadline in the window, there are still some bits that need ironing out.
