I hate to have to bring it up but there’s another international break on the horizon after the weekend’s set for SPFL fixtures.
Of course, we’ve still got two big games to look forward to seeing the Boys in Green and White performing in but, after that, we’re going to have to suffer more turgid international football.
With Alex McLeish in charge it already is very hard to see Scotland achieving much in the coming years and that is despite a number of Bhoys being called up on a regular basis.
Indeed, for this next batch of fixtures, we’ve got five Hoops set to represent the Tartan Army and they are as follows:
π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώπ Five #CelticFC players have been named in the @ScotlandNT squad for their upcoming #NationsLeague games.
β Craig Gordon
β @kierantierney1
β @ryanchristie2
β James Forrest

It’s always nice to see our squad represented on the international stage but when it is with Scotland you do have to wonder what exactly could happen next.
Having five go is a risk to us more than most, as well, so let’s take a look at what has been said among our fanbase to the news:
Personal plea to all Celtic players; please withdraw from any squads while McLeish is in charge

I would withdraw the lot of them!!

What, no kris Boyd !!!!

Celtic should be restricting this. Fair enough, they are top Scottish players, but we don’t need another John Kennedy incident.

Pull them out for gods sake
