Celtic have been relatively quiet in the transfer window so far, but the Bhoys’ supporters shouldn’t be too concerned with their side’s transfer inactivity. The Scottish champions require players that will enhance the pedigree of their team, and Liverpool’s Harry Wilson would unequivocally improve the quality of Brendan Rodgers’ attack.

According to the Daily Mail, Celtic are keen on signing Harry Wilson on loan, and the talented Welshman would be an excellent asset for the Scottish champions. The 21-year-old has failed to make a single appearance for Liverpool, and despite only amassing 22 career appearances at club level, Wilson has demonstrated his worth at Hull City and on the international stage with Wales.

The Welshman spent the second-half of last season on loan with the Tigers, where he impressed enormously. In 13 league appearances for Hull, the winger contributed towards ten league goals – scoring an impressive total of seven goals, and he also registered three assists.

The dynamic winger is exceedingly versatile; he can play on either flank or even occupy a central position if required. Wilson is an incredibly skilled player who exhibits creativity and enterprise with the ball at his feet. In addition to his trickery and his industry, Wilson flaunts tremendous shooting ability, especially from long-distance.

Additionally, he is particularly dangerous from set-piece situations, and he demonstrates tremendous crossing ability. Following the departure of Stuart Armstrong to Southampton, Celtic require greater creativity in attacking positions, and Harry Wilson could prove to be the perfect candidate to enhance the standard of the Celtic attack.

Despite the Bhoys’ spectacular success in the Scottish Premiership last season, Rangers succeeded to amass more goals than Celtic in the division. The potential arrival of Harry Wilson would significantly enhance the service that the likes of Dembele and Edouard will receive, while also sharpening the quality of their attack. Wilson would be a terrific signing.
