Celtic maintained their impressive dominance of Scottish football with a 3-1 win against Kilmarnock at Parkhead and it was the returning Leigh Griffiths who showed what Hoops fans had missed mid-week with his side’s third goal to put the game beyond any doubt.
Griffiths was a peripheral figure for much of the first-half of the season but has been like the proverbial man possessed since January after firing 5 goals and 2 assists in 8 games with Celtic winning every domestic game in 2020.
The striker hasn’t been far from the news throughout the season and has never been short of doubters, but much like his manager, Neil Lennon, he is continuing to prove them all wrong and few would back against him being the man charged with leading the line for Scotland in the upcoming Nations League play-of fixture against Israel.
Has Griffiths' post Christmas form surprised you?
Yes
No
Celtic fans took to Twitter when Griffiths scored to remind “other” fans that he is going nowhere and will be scoring goals for years to come.
For a guy who wonβt be playing football, he sure does score a lot…

Griffiths was notable by his absence in the mid-week draw against Copenhagen as Lennon reverted to just the solitary striker, with the Scotland international fit and ready to go, the Danes surely won’t be as lucky second time around.
