Brendan Rodgers has named his starting eleven for tonight’s massive UEFA Europa League fixture in Trondheim, as the Hoops look to take a step towards knockout qualification with a win against Norwegian champions Rosenborg.

As announced by UEFA, tonight’s team is as follows:

Starting XI – Craig Gordon, Mikael Lustig, Filip Benkovic, Dedryck Boyata, Kieran Tierney, Callum McGregor, Ryan Christie, James Forrest, Tom Rogic, Scott Sinclair, Odsonne Edouard.

Substitutes – Scott Bain, Jack Hendry, Scott Brown, Leigh Griffiths, Cristian Gamboa, Jonny Hayes, Olivier Ntcham.

Rodgers’ side have a good record against Rosenborg in recent years and have already beaten them twice this season at Celtic Park, also drawing 0-0 away in Norway.

The task tonight will be turning that 0-0 into a victory, with three points crucial in taking one of the two spots from Group B in the last 32 of the competition.

With the two Red Bull teams squaring off in the other match this evening, we’re also all hoping for a Salzburg victory over Leipzig.
