According to the Daily Record, Celtic have made a direct enquiry for Motherwell star David Turnbull as they look to step up their chase for the young player.
The 19-year-old Scot is highly rated and one of the brighter young players the country can boast at the moment.
The natural progression, then, is often to see players like that end up at our club as they can then win things and really become stars, and it looks as though we want to offer Turnbull that.
