Brendan Rodgers has left Celtic along with coaching staff members Kolo Toure and Chris Davies, according to The Evening Times.

The trio will make the switch to Leicester City not at the end of the season but right now, says the paper.

That leaves Neil Lennon as the most likely candidate to take over on a caretaker basis until the end of the season according to the report.

The paper say that John Kennedy, Damian Duff and Stephen McManus will take charge of tomorrow night’s crucial trip to Tynecastle to face Hearts in the Scottish Premiership.

Celtic fans have worried all season that the manager might leave at the end of the season, but nobody really thought it was a possibility he could go before lifting trophies in May.

Our worst nightmares are coming true and we now face a huge battle to win the ‘treble treble’.

As the story develops throughout today we’ll have much more news, reaction and fan reaction.
