Celtic take next step towards signing valued more than Edouard record

|

Celtic are on the look out for a number of players this summer as we look to shake the squad up and get ready for a new campaign of challenges in a few months from now.

We still have to try and seal the treble this weekend, of course, but we are already thinking about signings too and it seems as though the Bhoys are pushing to make some deals happen.

Indeed, according to Football Insider, Celtic have made an offer for Bournemouth striker Lys Mousset who is out of contract at the end of next season.

Valued at £10m by the Cherries according to the Sun, he has a higher price-tag on him than the fee we paid for record signing Odsonne Edouard, such is the inflation in the Premier League.

However, whether we actually have to pay that fee remains to be seen as, of course, with such a year left in his deal he is going to be surely a bit cheaper than that.
