Celtic target addresses transfer talk

|

As quoted by the Scottish Sun, reported Celtic target Strahinja Pavlovic has addressed the transfer speculation surrounding his name at the moment.

The player has been watched live by Neil Lennon this season already and is evidently a player that the Bhoys’ manager is aware of right now.

However, the player himself is not thinking too much about all the speculation, though he admits that it is flattering that we are looking at him:

“I was flattered when I heard about Celtic watching me in Wales. But for me I have to only concentrate on my immediate future and that’s at Partizan.”

It’s the footballer’s answer, of course, and so we shouldn’t expect anything else in all honesty.

Certainly, though, it is nice to see that he is flattered by our interest and that surely suggests that he could be open to a move to Celtic if such an opportunity came about.

That remains to be seen for now, though, but with a month left in the window, there is still plenty of time for the Hoops to try and grease the wheels of this one.
