As quoted by the Scottish Sun, Bahlul Mustafazada has said that he would be open to a move to Celtic this summer.
The Azerbaijani international is reportedly a target of ours according to the story and he has said that he would be happy to go to our club if it was the best thing for his development.
However, he has also said that he would consider going to Rangers as, for him, there is little difference between the two sides.
“Celtic or Rangers? For me there is no difference.
“Yes, it would be interesting to work with a coach like Steven Gerrard, but the main thing for me is my development.”
An interesting take, and one we obviously disagree with for several reasons.
At the end of the day, though, once he undertakes a bit more research if both clubs go for him he’ll surely see that there can only be one place to come and develop your football.
If he wants to win trophies and really launch his career in Europe, Celtic are surely the club for him.
