Celtic are reportedly on alert to the fact that they could well be given a real cash boost if Moussa Dembele joins Manchester United in the near future – as per the Daily Record.
The French forward left the Bhoys at the start of last season and has since gone on to excel for French side Lyon, with it clear that United are looking at him according to the report.
And, as per the story, Lyon think they can get around 80m Euros for him, which would give us a real boost as we inserted a sell-on fee into his contract when we agreed to let him go to Ligue 1.
Some good forward thinking from those involved in that deal, then, and it seems more than possible that we could get quite the windfall with United proving time and again that they are willing to spend the big money to sign players.
