Celtic are a shock favourite to land Scotland star

This isn’t a rather bizarre one.
As we all look forward to the return of the domestic football, a transfer ‘rumour’ appeared this morning that seems to suggest Celtic are one of the favourites to land Hibs and Scotland star, Ryan Porteous.
The newly capped defender is out of contract at the end of the season and according to bookies, Coral, the Hoops are 7/4 just behind Rangers who are even money.
There is absolutely no way Celtic would be looking a thing Porteous. He’s just not the kind of defender we need.
Far too dash in the tackle, Porteous has proven time and again that he can be a liability in defence.
He also wouldn’t suit our style of playing from the back as he isn’t not composed enough on the ball.
Yes, he played well in the Ukraine game midweek but one swallow does not make a summer.
Celtic are best to leave this one well alone, if indeed, they are interested at all.
