According to the Daily Record, Celtic have made a bid to try and sign Greg Taylor this summer as they look to sign the left-back from Kilmarnock before the deadline next Monday.

The Hoops saw Kieran Tierney leave the club earlier on in the window as he moved to Arsenal and since the Bhoys have been in need of a replacement.

Thus far, though, we’ve not been able to make such a deal happen, though it does seem as though Taylor is of interest to the Hoops.

Indeed, we have apparently made a bid for the player with under a week left in the window and it now remains to be seen whether or not we are successful in getting him in from Killie.

A recent Scotland international, he’s a young player that could follow in KT’s footsteps and be a success for us so let’s see if we can manage to get him in.

  • Hear we go again trying to buy on the cheap and Lennon is playing along with the board ,the rosenborg left back is far better than taylor and now we have a right back on loan. No chance of ten in a row now we will be lucky to win anything this season all thanks to the tactics in the champions league. So it looks like the tierney money is now being used to compensate no longer being in champions league.
