Celtic are taking on Hearts at Celtic Park on Tuesday evening (kick-off 7.45pm).

Latest signing Charly Musonda could be given an immediate debut for the champions having agreed an eighteen-month loan deal from Chelsea.

But goalkeeper Craig Gordon [ankle] and striker Leigh Griffiths [calf] have been added to an injured list currently including Tom Rogic, Stuart Armstrong, Marvin Compper and Michael Johnston.

Hearts finally ended Celtic’s long unbeaten sequence last month and have striker Kyle Lafferty [suspension] and midfielder Prince Buaben returning.

However, Malaury Martin, Rory Currie and Ashley Smith-Brown remain absent.

“We deservedly lost on the day last month, that was pretty clear,” Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers admitted to BBC Scotland. “Hearts coped with the conditions better than us and deserved the victory.

“But I like judging a team in their response, and, if you look at the reaction, we have played seven games, won six, drew one and kept a clean sheet in all of them bar one.”
