Leaders Celtic take on their fiercest rivals Rangers in a midday kick-off at Celtic Park on Sunday.

Winger James Forrest is back in contention after missing the last couple of games due to injury.

He’s been joined in training by midfielder Tom Rogic, who is though still up to a month away from a recall.

“The games I’ve been involved in so far have been fantastic and of course we played well in the three games and got the result,” manager Brendan Rodgers told BBC Scotland. “We always anticipate a tough game and I’m sure this one will be no different.

“It’s a real intense affair, the supporters are really passionate, and the Celtic Park game was a great start, being the first one for us, so if we can play to that level and to how we have been for most of the season then we hope that can get us a result.”

Rangers are missing Rob Kiernan after failing to overturn his red card against St Johnstone. He begins a two-match suspension.

Striker Joe Garner is similarly banned while Jordan Rossiter and Niko Kranjcar both remain on the sidelines.
