We all know the riches that come with participating in the Champions League group stages.

It has been well documented over the course of the last couple of months.

Vital Celtic reported earlier in the month the figures being touted and they are eye watering.

But if you thought they were good, what do you make of this claim by finance expert Kieran Maguire?

Speaking to Football Insider, Maguire said, “Celtic are the only club in the history of Scottish football to generate more than £100m in a single season.

“That came in 2018 when they were in the Champions League. It is transformational.

“Last year, they generated £60m worth of income. I expect that to go up because they will have a full season of matchday in 2021-22.

“For every £1 in the Europa League, you get £5 in the Champions League. Celtic will be joyous in the boardroom with this news.”

The start of that last quote sounds strangely familiar……

However, if Celtic do top the £100m mark it could set the club up for domestic dominance for years to come but we have been there before.

We want European success.

We want the club able to compete in the Champions League and become a team that is feared in Europe. Especially when they visit Glasgow.

Over to you Celtic.

Not a bad amount of money for a manager reported to be gone by Christmas part of a report by donkey Boyd hee haw hee haw.

I’m not religious but I’m praying Seville is the scene of another Scottish UEFA Cup final loss…the less funds heading to Ibrox the better, preferably nil euros.

It’s been fantastic to watch Ange just put these fuds in their places at pressers/in interviews. They rarely admit they were wrong about anything so there’ll be no apologetic contrition from anyone in the Fourth Estate. Some may perhaps briefly fawn and gush about the job he’s done but soon it’ll be full steam ahead on the wall to wall coverage of every moment of build up to their beloved team European 2nd tier final.

    Ibrox lickspittles one and all.

Here’s a interesting question; which of the following has a higher numerical value?

    a) the total number of goals scored by Kris Boyd against Celtic?
    ~or~
    b) the total number of functioning brain cells in Kris Boyd’s head?
