According to Sky Sports, Norwich City are set to sign winger Patrick Roberts on a season-long loan and that will end our chances of bringing him back to the club.
The Sun had reported not too long ago that the Bhoys were interested in getting him back to the club and you can understand why with the obvious quality that he brings.
However, Sky are now reporting that he is going to Norwich City this summer and will be there for the season, so we’re going to have to look elsewhere for targets.
Patrick spent a good period of time at our club and was a real favourite with the quality he brought in the final third.
Indeed, it would have been nice to see him back after his spell at Girona this season just gone but it looks as though such an eventuality is now next to impossible for the new campaign.
