Celtic transfer approach rebuked

|

Celtic will be aiming to sign a few more players this summer than they have so far, put it that way.

It’s been a quiet market for the Bhoys up until now but there is considerable hope that the Bhoys are going to get things moving and get themselves into the market and sign some players.

David Turnbull is a name that has been doing the rounds for a while, too, and the Bhoys ended up calling out his representatives on Twitter at the end of last week as the deal stalled.

For Danny Mills, though, that is simply not good enough and he has criticised the approach:

Speaking to Football Insider, the former defender had this to say:

“Celtic have used the media to discuss transfer negotiations and it’s totally wrong.

“Business should be conducted privately and behind closed doors.”

To be fair, we shouldn’t have aired it all to the public I don’t think either, and so I agree with Mills here.

I can also understand it, though, as there are some very frustrating people involved in transfers these days.
