‘Class act’, ‘He is back’ – Loads of Celtic fans were in awe of one performer during big win

Scott Sinclair celebrates a Celtic goal

Celtic are through to the Quarter Finals of the Scottish Cup after a stomping 5-0 victory against St Johnstone at Celtic Park today.

A Scott Brown rocket, a fine James Forrest finish and a super Scott Sinclair hat-trick fired the Hoops to a big win over the Perth side.

Brendan Rodgers’ side have now scored 21 goals without reply over the last seven matches. It’s imperious form that has supporters dreaming of yet another treble.

Sinclair has been at the heart of the resurgence, having now scored 11 goals in his last 11 matches, a tally that includes two hat-tricks.

His total for the season is now sitting at 16 goals, making him the club’s top scorer in all competitions.

It’s a fabulous attacking contribution, especially from a player who has been severely criticised by many fans over the last 18 months.

Now he is back at his best though, supporters have rushed to gush about his quality, taking to Twitter on Sunday to share their thoughts…
