Martin O’Neill is a man that will always have a special place in our hearts.
Certainly, there’s a good case to suggest that he could have stayed longer at the club and earned us more trophies but he went when and why he did and we’ll always respect that.
A true football thinker and a real winner, too, you can’t underestimate what he did for us and has done elsewhere in the game – both as a player and a manager.

The Verdict
A brilliant man and one that certainly put Vieira and Cannavaro in his place.
He was a legend for us and in the future if he returned we’d surely welcome him back with open arms.
