Another clean sheet. Another three points. Another away victory.
As Celtic continue their resurgence under Ange Postecoglou, another three points on the board keeps the pressure on their rivals at the top of the table.
Whilst Tom Rogic, Callum McGregor and David Turnbull all turned on a performance of the highest order, there was one man that stepped up to the plate and is starting to silence all his critics.
Carl Starfelt has had a shaky start toย his Celtic career.
An own goal on his debut in the opening day defeat against Hearts at Tynecastle was never going to endear him to the Hoops supports but over the course of the last couple of months, he has developed a proper partnership at the heart of the Celtic defence with Cameron Carter Vickers.
Starfelt seemed as though he was on the end of some unfair criticism in the press and from pundits but he is slowly but surely proving them, and some Celtic fans wrong with some solid displays.
The criticism of the defender got so bad that Hoops gaffer Ange Postecoglou felt the need to come out and defend his player [The Sun], โWe play differently from a lot of other teams and we put different expectations on our players.
โCarl Starfelt had it as tough as anyone.
“We threw him in without a pre-season, virtually without a training session, and asked him to play alongside guys he had never met before.
โI think he was unfairly judged in many respects.”
And after a Man of The Match performance against Hearts after five weeks out the team, and another brilliant display today, Starfelt has really caught the imagination of the fans as they celebrate their big Swedish defender:
