Celtic striker Anthony Stokes says it’s the team’s responsibility to provide the goal threat lost by the recent sale of Gary Hooper.

“We’ve got plenty of players in the team, even from midfield, who can score goals” – Anthony Stokes

The 25-year-old finally joined Premier League Norwich City last week after scoring 82 goals during his three seasons at Parkhead.

“I always try to score as many goals as possible,” Stokes told BBC Scotland. “But we are all going to have to dig in and try to chip in. Over the last three or four years, we have done that.

“We’ve got plenty of players in the team, even from midfield, who can score goals,” he added. “We will all try to do as much as possible. It’s on the whole squad.”
