Dutch centre-back Virgil van Dijk is looking for Celtic to end their season on a high against Dundee United this weekend.

“It would have been nice to have 100 points and 100 goals as well” – Virgil van Dijk

The Hoops can’t now reach the magical 100-point mark after conceding twice late on in their 3-3 draw at St Johnstone last night. But they are currently on 99 goals.

“It was very disappointing, 3-1 up and we still gave it away. I don’t think we deserved to win,” van Dijk admitted to SkySports. “It would have been nice to have 100 points and 100 goals as well, that was definitely something that we wanted to do.

“The first half was very bad. I don’t know the reason behind that. The second half was a little bit better but we shouldn’t give it away like we did,” he added. “We know we can do better and we need to do better. We have one more game left.”
