Every Celtic fan knew there was going to be a protest at the Dundee match today.
The Green Brigade made it perfectly clear that the away support would have their say at Dens Park today in a tweet released yesterday condemning the clubs desire to appoint Bernard Higgins to a role within the club:
Last weekend, Celtic Park united to unequivocally oppose the rumoured appointment of Bernard Higgins at Celtic.

As the protest took place, the team on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard where trying to make sense of it and when it finally twigged what was being thrown on the pitch, Hugh Keevins set about the Green Brigade without having the knowledge or background of what the protest is about.
To be fair to the rest of the pundits, neither did they, but they, at least, kept their counsel to a relative degree of professionalism until Hugh stepped in with a rant that even took them by surprise.
As host Gordon Duncan finally confirmed it was tennis balls being thrown onto the pitch, Keevins let loose, “Whatever it is, it’s idiotic. I mean we always say, ‘Ah are there you are Scottish football’.
“It is idiotic. There’s an important match held up here. The players, the concentration has been spoiled for them.
“You can have it anyway you like, this is this is idiotic.
“It’s the last word in stupidity.
“Ange Postecoglou is looking on as if to say, ‘What’s going on here?’
“It’s televised all over Britain. It makes us look dim witted. And this is an important football match held up for no sound reason.
“I’m expressing myself in a forthright fashion.
“It is dimwitted and stupid.”
Today protests continued against the expected appointment of Bernard Higgins at Celtic.
Fans will continue to oppose this until it is clear Higgins is not joining the club.
