Neil Lennon is set to have his four-game ban extended to eight following the events in the Glasgow derby at Celtic Park on Wednesday evening.
The Celtic boss was originally given a six-match touchline suspension after an altercation with the fourth official during the defeat to Hearts at Tynecastle back in November. However, that was reduced to four games earlier this week upon appeal.
But now Lennon is facing an additional two-game sanction following his clash with Rangers assistant manager Ally McCoist this week. And this will be automatically doubled as a result of his misconduct record this season. McCoist will also receive a two-match suspension for his part in proceedings but is a first-time offender this season.
Both parties were reported by the referee Calum Murray and fourth official Iain Brines following their heated exchange at the end of the Scottish Cup fifth round replay.
