Celtic manager Neil Lennon admits it’s unlikely defender Efe Ambrose will make the starting line-up for their Champions League tie with Juventus on Tuesday evening.

The Nigerian international is away representing his country in Sunday’s African Nations Cup final against Burkina Faso in South Africa.
“He seems to think he will be back on Monday evening or the early hours of Tuesday; we will assess him and see how he is,” Lennon told BBC Scotland. “It’s difficult for me to think he will be in a starting position. He’s playing in a huge game and then has a 10 or 11-hour flight. But we are hoping he will make the squad.”
Winger James Forrest will definitely be available following a hamstring injury while defender Emilio Izagiurre and striker Georgios Samaras were still hoping to be fit.
“Forrest is fine. He has had the two scans and he came through all clear so he will be in the squad,” Lennon continued. “I think Emilio will be fine, now we are waiting on Sami and we won’t know, maybe until Monday.”
Juventus warmed up for the game with a 2-0 victory against Fiorentina on Saturday evening, courtesy of first-half goals from Mirko Vučinić and Alessandro Matri.
