as Celtic look certain to wrap up the title at Tannadice tomorrow night, the party will be in full swing come full time in Dundee if Celtic pick up all three points.

Well, to be fair, the title is over but it would be nice to see it official.

And as always, the Celtic fans have sold out their whole allocation for the 745pm kick off.

But as many fans are desperate to celebrate with their hero’s it seems that United have cracked down on supporters trying to purchase tickets from the home allocation of Tannadice.

A statement [via The Scotsman] was released ahead of tomorrow nights which they say, “Dundee United have cancelled a number of tickets for Wednesday’s match with Celtic following a thorough investigation of all purchases for the Dundee United sections of Tannadice.

“A refund has been offered on all cancelled tickets and barcodes on these tickets have been voided.

“These tickets will not work on the turnstiles. Supporters attempting to use voided tickets will be denied entry.

“Celtic’s allocation for this match is completely sold out and online sales for all areas of the stadium have been suspended.

“For this match we will be conducting an outer security perimeter and supporters will not be permitted to enter the turnstile zone without producing a valid match ticket.”

You would think the Tayside club would be more accommodating to fans that are willing to part with their hard earned cash and try and find other seating arrangements for the travelling support.

It does seem silly to reject that business at time when money is tight for all clubs.

Does it seem silly that the Police are not allowing it because of the past history of Celtic fans fighting people on the streets before and after games?

As I’ve said previously this is NOW the perfect time for the celtic board to say that they will now be be refusing all ticket allocation to ALL THESE LITTLE CLUBS UNTIL THEY GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER. THEN WATCH THESE DIRECTORS SQUIRM WHEN WHOEVER WE GET AWAY FIRST ARE £150.000.00 DOWN.

You obviously didn’t get my first comment, this is the perfect time for the celtic board to tell all these little clubs that we wont be taking any allocation to any of their grounds next season .and then watch these little dictators squirm when there 150k short at their first game to celtic
