Ronny Deila hopes to wrap-up the signings of Serbian striker Stefan Scepovic and Ghana winger Wakaso Mubarak within the next few days.

Scepovic, 24, is currently with Sporting Gijon in Spain’s second division while Mubarak, also 24, has been in Russia’s top-flight since last summer.

Problems over obtaining a work permit already prevented the finalisation of a
loan deal for Mubarak from Rubin Kazan ahead of last week’s Champions League meeting with Maribor.

“We hope things will happen this week,” Deila confirmed to BBC Scotland. “We’re working a lot on this and I think we’re going to get things how we want it.”
