English Premier League side look at Celtic for surprising summer move

|

Celtic boss Neil Lennon is one of the candidates to become Fulham manager, according to The Scottish Sun.

The paper say that the soon to be relegated English Premier League side are looking at options to replace interim manager Scott Parker at the end of the season, with Lennon on the list alongside Kilmarnock’s Steve Clarke.

Lennon’s record is said to have caught the eye of Fulham owner and billionaire Shahid Khan.

The report states that Lennon would only seriously consider the position should he not be granted an extended stay at Celtic by Peter Lawwell and Dermot Desmond, who have yet to make a decision on the future direction of the Hoops.

The 47-year-old is of course firm favourite to take Celtic into next season after steadying the ship in the wake of Brendan Rodgers’ dramatic departure in February.

His side have yet to be beaten in all competitions and are on the brink of a domestic treble.
