Celtic left-back Calvin Miller is attracting interest from recently relegated Sunderland according to Teamtalk.

The Black Cats endured another torrid campaign last season as they ended up bottom of the Championship on their way down to the third tier.

Plenty of rebuilding is needed there, then, and that is what former St. Mirren boss Jack Ross is looking to do.

It appears that he is aiming to sign Scottish based players in order to do that, as well, and young Miller is clearly a part of that.

It’d be a loan deal if it goes through and that may prove to be the right thing to do.

The Verdict

Miller is a young player who needs to be playing in order to learn.

Kieran Tierney isn’t going anywhere and so this deal might be good for all involved. Sunderland need players and we need him to get experience. Let’s see what happens.
