The 27-year-old centre-back has been far more involved this time around with 41 appearances to date as his club continued to build themselves a massive lead at the top of the table.
Wilson originally joined Celtic from Nottingham Forest eighteen months ago but found restricted opportunities due to injuries and loss of form during his first campaign.
“I’ve played a lot this year. I think this has been the most I’ve played in almost three years,” he told Celtic View, reports the Daily Record. “I’ve had injuries or not been able to get into the team because they have been doing well.
“But this season has been a good run for me and I’m enjoying it,” Wilson continued. “I think winning the league this season would mean even more to me than last year.”
