Eventually, David Turnbull signed for the Bhoys and we can now move on from that saga as it was starting to get a bit messy.

One minute it was on, then it was off, then on and then off and then, finally, on again.

Indeed, it looked like he might head to Norwich City and we had given up but another late twist saw him sign for us and apparently two Scottish internationals had their say on matters – according to the Scottish Sun.

One current one, Andy Robertson, and one former one in James McFadden spoke with Turnbull with him wanting to go somewhere first-team football was most likely.

Both apparently told the winger that coming to the Bhoys would be the best option for that, then, and hopefully, that will be the case.

He’s a young lad but he has got great potential and it’s going to be exciting to see him develop that for our club.
