Former Celtic striker Henrik Larsson is already the bookmakers’ favourite to succeed Neil Lennon at Parkhead.

“I have and always will have a strong affection with the club” – Henrik Larsson

The 42-year-old is currently in charge of Swedish side Falkenbergs, having previously spent three years with Landskrona.

Larsson scored 242 goals in 315 games during seven glorious seasons in Glasgow and always hoped to return to the club at some stage.

“I can see myself back at Celtic, whether it’s now or in the future time will tell,” he told STV. “I have and always will have a strong affection with the club. It’s not a question whether I’d be up for it. At the moment I’m only focusing on the job at Falkenberg.”
