Famous European name reportedly looking at Celtic ace

According to the Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport – via Sport Witness – Serie A side Lazio are taking a look at Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard and they are interested in him.

The man dubbed French Eddy has done a wonderful job since arriving at the club and, indeed, in taking over from Moussa Dembele as chief goal-scorer.

We saw at the weekend how he has succeeded Dembele as the man to score the goals against Rangers, too, and he could well fire us to more success in this season.

However, it looks as though the Italian giants are taking a close look at him and were interested in him in the summer window, though nothing came of that obviously.

It’s no surprise to see a player like Edouard attract such interest but hopefully we can avoid seeing him leaving the club any time soon as we look to achieve a ninth and tenth league title in a row.
