With Arsene Wenger leaving Arsenal, some have suggested that Brendan Rodgers might be on the way to the Emirates.
The former Liverpool boss has been everything we could have hoped for and more since arriving last season and is on the brink of achieving another treble after 2016/17’s.
Certainly, I think he is one of the brighter managers around but some on social media – clearly looking for likes – would rather poke fun at him instead of looking at the facts, though others have jumped to his defence.
Let’s take a look at the reaction from various fans to Dermot Desmond saying he wouldn’t block an approach from Arsenal:

At least they can get into the champions league, as a champion as well. Not as a fourth place finish

Such a small job for someone like Rodgers he usually aims higher surprised with that.

The Verdict
Plenty have decided to give Brendan stick but, you know what, that’s fine by me.
They clearly haven’t bothered to see the work that he has done of late and if it means we get to keep him for longer then I am more than happy with that.
Thoughts, Bhoys? Let me know!
