As Celtic look to strengthen their squad for the coming season, a Croatian journalist has given the fans an exciting update on the clubs pursuit of Kristijan Lovrić.

The Hoops have been tracking the international winger for some time now and Croatian reporter

has tweeted that the club has now made official contact with HNK Gorica to enquire about the Croatian internationals availability.

Although an official offer has not yet been made, Jerlekovic says that if the Glasgow giants offer €5m, the deal can be done.

After Celtic’s display against West Ham yesterday, the glaring priority many fans would have thought would be a central defender and goalkeeper signing but it seems Ange Postecoglou is set on beefing up his attacking options to allow him to play the free flowing attacking football that he loves.

With Celtic expecting to lose Odsonne Edouard, Ryan Christie and Olivier Ntcham on this transfer window, Postecoglou fired out a warning to any other want away stars after yesterday’s 6-2 drubbing at the hands of West Ham,

I’m not about keeping people happy, you know, if they’re not happy here then they can move on.

“I mean, representing this football club should give you joy and happiness.  I’m not an entertainer.

“I’m here to create a culture that maintains the values and traditions of this club and also bring success to this club.

“I’m not interested in keeping people being happy.”

With the new season less than a week away, Postecoglou will be hoping that any reinforcements will be in before next week’s league opener against Hearts at Tynecastle.
