Financial boost for Celtic revealed ahead of summer window

Celtic fans at Celtic Park

Celtic will be looking to add to their side this summer in order to keep the domestic dominance going and make a real splash in Europe.

The Bhoys have been excellent again this season just gone and will have a deserved break but it won’t be long before we’re going for it again.

We need to add to the squad, then, and a financial boost has been given to us that may allow us to do exactly that.

As per the Scotsman, it’s been revealed that our wage to income ratio is 58.4%, well below the recommended 70%.

Certainly, that bodes well for the Bhoys as we look to get ourselves some new players in the window and with others leaving this summer we’re bound to stick around that figure with some wiggle room to increase.

Rangers, meanwhile, are over the 70% threshold which, let’s be honest, is no surprise whatsoever as we head into the market.
