Celtic will hopefully add to their defence this summer as we look to move on from the likes of Dedryck Boyata who left earlier this window.

Neil Lennon knows all too well we need to bring in players that can come into the club and quickly adapt and perform at a high level to ensure our domestic dominance is preserved.

One man we might well be targeting by the sounds of things, then, is Liam Moore.

The Reading defender, according to former Reading Chronicle journalist and Royals insider Courtney Friday on Twitter, is a target for the Hoops:

However, if we are to be successful in signing him, he could cost a fair bit of money.

According to the Argus last year, Brighton bid for him and fell well short of the Royals’ evaluation of £15m – something that would surely make us balk.

Meanwhile, transfermarkt has him valued at £6.3m, so this could be an expensive one if we’re not put off by his potential cost already.
